How Can I Help?
1) You can now support your watershed just by choosing GoodSearch as your internet search engine. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and choose the Upper Merced River Watershed Council as your charity. Your watershed will benefit with every search. From the GoodSearch page you can also link to GoodShop to find coupons and discounts at more than 1,300 stores. A percentage of every purchase made through GoodShop will also go to the Upper Merced River Watershed Council. How easy is that?
2) There are three websites where you can shop for "green" products for your home and designate the Upper Merced River Watershed Council as recipient of a percentage of your purchase amount. They are:

3) The Upper Merced River Watershed Council depends on people like you who want to help preserve and protect the watershed. VOLUNTEERS serve as docents at a trailhead during wildflower season, monitor water quality, or perform trail restoration, invasive plant removal, or other hands-on tasks. No special background or training is required to start! DONATIONS are vital to building sustainability for the Watershed and to provide funding beyond the scope of grants.
4) Our online fundraiser, Spring Into Color, through Flower Power Fundraising, was a success thanks to the many folks who bought bulbs, perennials, and vegetables. We were able to raise a total of $595!
The fundraiser was such a success that we plan to do it again in the fall. Watch for your chance to support the Upper Merced River Watershed Council when we announce our fall fundraiser.
